Meals-on-Wheels

The program's purpose is to promote good health and independent living by providing home delivered meals for people living in the City of Waukesha and portions of the Town of Waukesha. The Meals on Wheels program networks with other service providers to ensure that our clients needs are being met but not duplicated. The Caring Place Meals on Wheels is distinctive for its services to clients of all ages and for its therapeutic, individualized meal plans.
Franz Rediess receives his bagged cold supper from volunteer driver and Board member, Faye Flesia.

Hot noon meals and cold suppers are prepared at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and delivered by dedicated, caring volunteer drivers, Monday through Friday. Meals-On-Wheels is able to assist people who are in need of home delivered meal service but may not be able to afford the cost on their own. Like the Adult Day Center Program, we help people remain active participants in the community and delay nursing home care.
